I wanted to make a joint similar to a dovetail that was suited for my CNC machine.
I call this my Puzzle Box. Here it is assembled. Adjacent sides and bottom are stained different colors for contrast.
Here are the boards ready to piece together. I cut it with about 0.005" clearance, but it press fit together.
The ends of the boards required a special setup on my CNC router. I had to mount the router in a horizontal position to cut the joint.
